Just enjoyed an excellent stay in the Mespil on rugby weekend. Room was well apppointed and very clean, one small negative- perhaps could have a fridge but not all 4 star properties have this, no big deal. Received a breakfast upgrade which was a lovely touch, enjoyed breakfast in busy breakfast room, food was of a good quality and everything fresh and hot. Only fault at breakfast was a small issue with high chair which took quite a few minutes to sort out while 1 year old son was getting impatient! Overall though an excellent stay in an excellent hotel, would not hesitate to return.

I avoid Dublin but when I have to be there, I stay at the Mespil.
