Nice hotel just lacks any atmosphere . Rooms newly refurbished beautifully and to a high standard. Could just do with better staff engagement at reception. Second time staying and felt the same last time

There is always a warm welcome at the Mespil Hotel and it is one of my favourite hotels in Dublin. It's in a great location its staff are always warm, welcoming and professional. I would prefer though if the heating in its rooms could be controlled by the guest themselves.

We loved the lovely decor and our room was really lovely with a great view of the canal. We'll be back.

We did not use the bar or restaurant. The door of our room was not properly fitted, and was difficult to unlock. At checkout I wanted to make a booking for the night of 5th June, but the quoted rate of €179 is too expensive.
